I have had a great love for polka dot print since my birthday in 2014 after I saw how well it looked on me…
…so, when the choice of what to wear again came this year, I opted for something simple and I didn’t hesitate to have a complete dress of its pattern.
Depending on your choice, the sizes of the circles varies with the background color (the rest of your outfit). I decided to go for a white background and black dots because I felt I needed something bright for my skin.
It takes a modest heart to be represent a modest dressing.
Accessorising with this red belt (which I later realised wasn’t staying in the right position) and a nude shoe gave a perfect look. I also didn’t want a protective style on, so I wore my natural hair.
I am grateful for the gift of another year on earth and here I would like to encourage everyone seeing this to represent modesty. It takes a modest heart to be represent a modest dressing.
Modesty must start from the inside and must flow outside with the understanding that the Scriptures must be our standard, not the world. I personally had lots of questions about what and what not to wear until my heart was settled by these verses of the Bible: Romans 12:1, 2 (AMP).
Verse 1: Therefore I urge you, [b]brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies [dedicating all of yourselves, set apart] as a living sacrifice, holy and well-pleasing to God, which is your rational (logical, intelligent) act of worship.

Verse 2: And do not be conformed to this world [any longer with its superficial values and customs], but be [a]transformed and progressively changed [as you mature spiritually] by the renewing of your mind [focusing on godly values and ethical attitudes], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His plan and purpose for you].
Modesty perfected in holiness.
Of course, there are two extremes to it, and suffice it to say, looking shabby isn’t modesty or godliness, neither should our freedom in Christ be a stumbling block for others.
