UNREAD AND UNHEEDED: A BIBLE PROBLEM?
Some only read the Bible on their birthdays, others when they’ve had a terrible dream.
Some read their Bible usually to counter another person, others only when…..
If you’re a Christian, much more than identifying as one, you’d experience God.
If you’re not a Christian, may you encounter God.
If you’re a practicing Christian, may your faith be eternally steadfast in God.
Hebrews 10 AMPC
But the just shall live by faith [My righteous servant shall live by his conviction respecting man’s relationship to God and divine things, and holy fervor born of faith and conjoined with it]; and if he draws back and shrinks in fear, My soul has no delight or pleasure in him.
But our way is not that of those who draw back to eternal misery (perdition) and are utterly destroyed, but we are of those who believe [who cleave to and trust in and rely on God through Jesus Christ, the Messiah] and by faith preserve the soul.

I have heard this song a couple of times and I didn’t try to think differently until recently.
I really do not want to think the writer of the song meant any harm, but she just wanted to encourage people to understand that there would be some things that just wouldn’t budge and would just be outside our control no matter how much we try.
The world and its objects is evolving but some things should never evolve at its core & one of such is Christianity & everything it embodies. We could take in better ways of living the Christian life but let’s be reminded ‘better’ shouldn’t mean different. Given that, the essence of biblical doctrines shouldn’t be tampered…
reason most people do not want to serve. They are afraid of the level of responsibility and accountability that comes with identifying with the laborers. Afraid to be a model.
Unedifying songs dampen the soul. The lyrics weaken spiritual resolve. It mocks the fabric of faith.
There’s this idea the world paints that fuels us to keep going in a context that isn’t healthy & you know, that just robs us off the beauty that comes with taking pauses.
Frankly speaking, I’m not one who’s had a linear growth since being saved, but recently, I’m beginning to see what one misses out as one consistently indulges in that kind of spiritual dynamics that doesn’t trust God for stability.
