“I see she’s always loved something similar to this” the lady assisting the photographer while having my birthday photo shoot said.
She had seen one of the screensavers on my PC on a black cape and I was as well on a cape during the shoot.
I just smiled thinking about how that could be an idea for the blog and here you have it.
If you’ve been following the blog from the inception, you’d quite agree the cape style is certainly something I’ve recreated a number of times.
The very first on here was the red cape I had for the grad service in church in 2018 and it was everything classy.

Now I remember I also had a cape like shirt I got from a thrift store shortly before my graduation from school. I paired the shirt perfectly with a white skirt and the overall look was good.
So a cape-like shirt is something you can consider when sourcing for work outfits.
I also had to try on a native cape which I wore on a dungaree for my film premiere
I didn’t have the outfit published at the time but here are the pictures for your viewing pleasure
In 2019, I again had a photoshoot with a cape as one of the outfits.

For my birthday in 2022, I also had a cape with a short and long variant in a native attire.

I’m not sure the cape style would ever be out of trend.
The cape design can always be tweaked to suit a church function, a grad or an official clothing.
